On the heels of an incredible summer – one that our campers and staff needed more than ever – we are thrilled to announce that REGISTRATION FOR SUMMER 2022 IS NOW OPEN!

As we continue to emerge from the pandemic, you may have come across the term ‘COVID Keepers’ – changes that were implemented in response to COVID-19 and have since proven to be helpful and constructive modifications. Here at Camp, there are a number of ‘COVID Keepers’ that we plan to build upon next summer. Here’s a few of them.

• First Experience: In 2021, we aligned the beginning of First Experience with the start of Session 2 to allow us to have a single arrival day and seamlessly transition into our pods. This also helped us to place everyone in Camp with their respective age groups, giving your campers a chance to build friendships with other campers who they will be coming to EKC with for many summers to come. We will continue with that practice in 2022 and we will also be expanding our First Experience program to include an additional offering at the beginning of Session 1.
• No Deposit Registration & Flexible Payment Plans: No longer will you be required to put a deposit down to secure your spot for 2022. Simply completing our online registration form will secure your space for next summer. In addition, the following payment related changes are sticking around:
  • Cancellation Deadline: We will be extending our cancellation deadline to coincide with the final balance due date for Summer 2022, which is June 1.
  • Extended Early Bird: The best pricing available will for returning families until December 31, 2021.
  • Increased Referral Discount: Referring campers, who register for Camp, will earn you an increased discount each referral. Families can earn a maximum of eight (8) referral discounts each summer. The first referral will earn you a $200 discount, the second a $300 discount, the third a $400 discount, before maxing out a $500 for referral numbers four through eight.
• Transportation: We were overwhelmed by the positive support and feedback as we welcomed campers by drop-off (and pick-up) only in 2021. We saw firsthand how much our campers benefited from having our entire staff onsite as they arrived on Day 1, instead of sending staff out the night before to escort campers on buses scattered throughout the EKC catchment area. Remaining at Camp in advance of Opening Day also allowed staff to be significantly better prepared and more well-rested and enthusiastic as they welcomed campers to the shores of Cheat Lake. To that end, we will not be offering transportation next summer. We will continue to be flexible with your desired drop-off and pick-ups times on opening and closing days – recognizing that many of our families come from a great distance away. We are already kicking around a slew of ideas on how to give families who might be interested a chance to see and enjoy Camp themselves during the drop-off and/or pick-up times.
• Having Camp to Themselves: Campers who are attending both sessions will have the option to stay at Camp in between sessions at no additional charge. Planning is well underway for creating the perfect mix of activities and downtime for this group of hardcore EKC’ers.
• COVID Protocols: With support and partnership from our families, our COVID protocols worked and kept us safe all summer. While it’s too early to know exactly what protocols will be in place for next summer, we promise to continue to be transparent and honest with our safety planning for next summer.

We take great pride in what we were able to accomplish in 2021, and we thank YOU for your help and partnership in making it all happen.
