It’s Wonderful that Camp is Back!
By Jordyn Kay
Greetings from Camp!
It’s hard to believe we are already into Week 2 here of first session. Our days have been filled with excitement and curiosity and trying new things. We’eve gotten to experience the energy of flagpole with all of camp each morning, watching our campers and staff learn new songs and dance and the Hebrew word of the day! Our dining hall is filled with noise and socializing, siblings catching up at meal times, and friends sharing what they’ve done so far that day. Some of the most incredible times are these times when all of camp gathers together.
Anyone walking around camp can feel the energy as you look in every area and it is filled with activity and laughter and fun. Our upper ball fields are rambunctious and active, from basketball to archery to pool games, anywhere you go, you’re sure to find something fun to do. Between walking around to ceramics and the art shed and theater and dance you can see the liveliness all around.
As we look forward into this week we refuse to slow down, with Israel Day coming up and another Shabbat at camp to look forward to this weekend. We can’t wait for you all to continue to see what our campers are doing each day and all the fun we get to create at Camp!
